Janet Foret Lococo, is a full-blooded Cajun, born, reared and still residing on the banks of Bayou Lafourche in Lafourche Parish. Lafourche Parish is located in the lower most area of southern Louisiana and is commonly called "Bayou Country."
Always a good storyteller, she has succeeded in humorously describing her life and her experiences as a Cajun that began in the 1930s in her first book "CAJUN WOMAN: Pure & Simple."
The release of her second book "CAJUN BRIDE: Venus & Mars Collide."A delightfully funny book about real life collisions she experienced during forty-four years of marriage.
These books fulfill her dream of publishing and attest to her fierce pride in her Cajun heritage. BE ON THE LOOK-OUR FOR THE RELEASE of her third book, CAJUN MOM: THE WITCH AND THE KIDS in OCTOBER 2007!
